Matthew Altizer currently works as Director of Operations for Owl Studios, an award-winning jazz record label based in Indianapolis. He is a former General Manager of Pro Winds-Indy, and is also an ethnomusicologist and accomplished saxophonist. Dr. Rebecca Chappell is the Director of Music Business Studies at Anderson University and founder and Director of Orangehaus Music Business Camp. She is also the founder of Orangehaus Records and Orangehaus Publishing. Chappell is an active Indianapolis studio musician and member of the Indianapolis-based world music group, INDYKLEZ. Becki Douglas is the Administrator for Orangehaus Music Business Camp and the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Admissions at Anderson University. Chad Evans is Chief Recording Engineer at Gaither Studios in Alexandria, IN. He has won two Grammy Awards as mix engineer and producer for the Gaither Gospel Series that sold over 15 million copies. Micah Gilliam is lead guitarist for Casey Jamerson and Dave Elwert. He has also performed on Carnival Cruise Lines and a USO tour of Afghanistan with country artist, Chely Wright. Kyle Hodges is currently VP of Operations for Indy Jazz Fest, Account Executive for Owl Studios, and Marketing Director for the Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis. He has also worked as an opening DJ for groups like Kings of Leon, Gwen Stafani, Paul Van Dyke, and Shiny Toy Guns. James Hodgin is the owner and artist manager for Dryve Management in Nashville, TN. Sam Lawton is currently VP of A&R and Record Production for Orangehaus Records. He is a senior music business major at Anderson University and attended the Contemporary Music Center program at Martha’s Vineyard last fall. Dr. Mark Murray is Director of Recording Studios and trumpet instructor at Anderson University. He is co-founder of Orangehaus Records, Orangehaus Publishing, and Orangehaus Music Business Camp. Amanda Potaczek teaches music business at Anderson University and is lead guitarist and vocalist, for the Indianapolis-based band, 1000 Generation (Varietal Records). She is also a songwriter and does booking for the band. In 2007 she won “Song of the year” at GMA in the Rockies at Estes Park, CO for the song, “How Big Small Can Be.” Another one of her songs, “Fail Us Not,” has received significant national airplay. alpotaczek@anderson.edu
Steven Potaczek teaches record production at Anderson University and works as a producer and songwriter in the Indianapolis area. He is the leader of the Indianapolisbased band, 1000 Generations (Varietal Records), and has produced all three of the band’s recordings.
